| Ealing council said last night that they are consulting on a proposal to stop placing planning notices in the Press and writing letters to residents. No Residents Associations have been contacted as far as I can tell, but I would appreciate being told otherwise. This change to local democracy will save the Council £30,000 per annum, or half the cost of Councillor Bell's new aide. |
