They were erected without the requisite permissions, this has been done to death. The homeowner appealed and lost. The aesthetics have little to do with it save that this is a conservation area and any sensible person would have had all of the 'ticks in boxes' and 'little bits of paper' before starting work. They chose to skip this part of the process in order to get a better financial return, a decision that has unravelled. |
