If those who can see the rarer bird species returning to certain trees in your garden then it might be useful to identify the tree (i can help, for free, gardener and wildlife lover in Chiswick: aila@ailand.co.uk), watch which times the birds appear and spread the news. Trees attract certain wildlife during certain season, meaning during fruiting or budding (like the poplars in Southfield Park will be full of Paraqueets in the coming weeks as those birds like to nibble off the leaf buds) Some of those trees might NEED pruning to produce what is that the birds like.... |
