Hi Mary, Pete, Thanks for the reply and the suggestions. I've borrowed some one day vouchers from a neighbour and will go across to buy the temporary permit on Tuesday. Do you know if the temporary one is granted the same day? In Islington one simply had to show the insurance as proof of ownership. The 21 day limit seems very punitive as DVLA themselves state it will take 4-6 weeks to get the document. Thanks again. |
