What this dreadful crash does show conclusively is that if a large jet liner flies into the ground at high speed, there's very little left apart from loads of small pieces of debris. I'd been slightly taken by the conspiracy theories around the Pennsylvania crash, which maintained that the absence of larger pieces of place in the field was suspicious. But am now more content with the official explanation of that one. Still a few questions left, mind you, around WTC7 and the Pentagon crash. |
