The next Kew Village Market will be on this coming Sunday, 29th March (and yes, we know it’s not the usual first Sunday of the month but that’s because Easter falls on 5th April).

With 38 stalls in all, you’ll find all your favourite food suppliers here, from Avlaki Superb Organic Olive Oils to Winterbourne Game – joined this month by new-to-Kew Ringden Farm who’ll be selling their award-winning apple and pear juices. There’ll be lots of inspiration for Easter treats from our local hand-made crafts stalls, Ginger Q’s exquisite iced biscuits will be Easter-themed and Meadowsweet Flowers will have the prettiest Spring arrangements and can take bespoke orders for Easter itself. For a complete list of this market’s stallholders, just click here.

As the Spring sunshine makes fair-weather cyclists of so many of us, it makes sense to think of security for our bikes.  So we’re pleased to welcome the Safer Transport Team of our local police, who’ll be offering free bike marking – it only takes a matter of minutes, so why not bring the family’s cycles along?  And our charity stalls this month will be for Kew Community Trust, whose Avenue Club offers a social lifeline to so many elderly residents, and The Kew Society, dedicated to enhancing the beauty and character of Kew.

Pick up an alfresco lunch – superbly spiced hot food from Abycina maybe or soup and a salad from Carolyn Dawson – and stay to listen to the band. The massed strings of The Ukewlele Orchestra will be playing everything strummable and hummable...

Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday 29th March from 10am to 2pm – and don’t forget  that the clocks go forward this weekend!

Please note that there will be no market in April:
the next Kew Village Market will be on Sunday 3rd May.
