Yes, I've read them both, Will, also because they were cheap on Kindle. The local setting was one of the big attractions. I found them real page turners although Thomson must concoct some of the most convoluted plots in the genre. I also found that none of the characters in the sequel was remotely 'normal', or in any way a person I could identify with. |
