You will see from the google map that the cross over was a widish space with 'soft' edges.  The replacement is narrower and the edges are very sharp indeed.

What did and still does need doing is the road surface from Priory Gardens to the roundabout.  It is in a shocking state.

in answer to Andy's point, we are nearly at the end of the financial year so it Is the time to spend unused monies on any project they can think of.
