I pay 14 per month with British Gas for central heating cover.

I was going to save the premium until my boiler's main circuit board failed on Christmas Eve at 4:00pm

British Gas arrived and diagnosed the problem within four hours and fitted the new board on Christmas Day morning.

My 'regular' plumber was on holiday with his family so would not have been available anyway.

I shall keep my heating insurance.
