I guess it depends on the age of your boiler.As I said, our old one used to break down about once a month, and boiler parts are ridiculously expensive.The heat exchanger for our boiler was £400.That didn't include VAT or fitting.The £240 yearly cost for the insurance probably wouldn't cover the cost of one call out.If your boiler is reasonably new I guess it's worth taking a chance, but anything over 5 years, insurance has got to be the best bet. |
