Cheapest is not always best.We had our boiler replaced 18 months ago.The boiler we had prior to this one was a Myson Apollo and it was about 20 years old.It used to break down with alarming regularity, and because of it's age, parts were difficult to find. Our service contract was with British Gas, and apart from twice, the boiler was repaired on the same day we called them.Once we had to wait 3 days for a pump, and another time we had to wait 5 days for a heat exchanger.Because of the boilers' age, the only place that had one was in Germany. One time I called them at about 8am and the boiler was repaired by midday. As I said, they weren't the cheapest, but I don't think they could be beaten on service.
