The high specific heat capacity of water means that it will have a stabilising affect on the internal temperature of the fridge. I agree with the comments about the amount of food in the fridge affecting the cooling effect of the motor, therefore the amount of good will affect how frequently it turns on. But, as you mentioned, you have little food in there so it shouldn't vary too much. Do you think it is dealing correctly when the door closes? |
