There is also a huge tree next go the park gates (or there used to be) The tree is completely hollowed out.When I was at school, we were led to believe the damage to the tree was the result of the V2 explosion.Although the tree was only a shell, what there was of it was perfectly healthy.The interior also made a great hide.I would duck in there and have a fag before crossing the road and going through the school gates
