Your first step should be to wipe your hard drive and re-install everything you need from scratch - back up documents and the like and make sure you have *all* the installation discs for your programs first. If that all seems a bit much, uninstall progs you haven't used in a while, run a disk defragmenter and clean up your registry. That should make a major difference. I've assumed you are using Windows, but much the same would apply to a Mac, I imagine. |
