Sean & Nigel are both right. The trick is to get a good fitter & then work hard together on the design & measurements. Wickes, Howdens & Magnet are fine, so is Ikea, although not much space for pipes behind the cabinets. But, again, if your fitter knows that, he can push the cabinets forward. Whatever you do, don't let Magnet or Ikea fit the kitchen for you! They will charge you about 2k & pay a fitter about 300! This fitter will have allowed a day to fit your kitchen & will not be prepared for any work outside his remit. If you would like any recommendations for good kitchen fitters PM me.
