| Ah really sorry to hear about dear Bill. We used to see him a lot in the Cross Keys on Black Lion Lane. He was a lovely person with a big presence. When my husbands granny died years ago we went back to the Keys for a drink. Bill said "don't look upon it with sadness, look upon it as a celebration of her life". It was the first time we had heard that expression. She was 91 when she died in 1990. Bill didn't quite make it to 91, but we will raise a glass to celebrate his life as he would have wished. |
