Good morning All What a beautiful morning :) Every morning at around 8am I take my 2 little dogs for a 'comfort break' on Turnham Green and most mornings I'm greeted by Subway food wrappers and cups a mere 5 - 20 yards form their shop. This morning the landscaped area outside of The Lamb is festooned with their packaging. Many of you may remember what the Back Common was like when McDonald's was open, and the area around the new Subway is fast becoming the same! But who is responsible for ensuring the food and drink rubbish is cleared up - Subway or their litter-bug customers? Last year many of us campaigned against the Council about the rubbish bags being left on the High Road and that has improved, however stores like Subway, IMO, should monitor the area around their store to ensure that their food and drink packaging is picked up, but what do you think? |
