Topic: Non-Stun Slaughter to Be Debated in Parliament

Good news and about time.  From the RSPCA newsletter:-

It is great to see support for this issue with over 114,000 people speaking out for farm animals and the number of signatures continue to rise!  Help us end non-stun slaughter

Next Monday (23 February) this important issue will now be debated in Parliament and we need your help to get as many MPs there as possible to discuss the welfare of millions of farm animals.

We’re opposed to slaughter without pre-stunning, a practice that can cause suffering to sentient animals such as cows, chickens and sheep.

Please email your MP today, urging them to attend this debate which will discuss banning this cruel practice in England.
