| Only a very little bit, Ken. In your example there is a very recognised understanding of what "mark-up" and "margin" mean (I am assuming you mean margin rather than profit). In my example the actual meaning of what the reader understands it to mean is, in my view (also supported by earlier replies) most likely different to what the writer has decided it means. |
