| Can anyone help? We live in a clean(ish) house, carpets, central heating all that. About once every 2/6 weeks, either I or my partner wakes up with an insect bite, either on the face or the arms. These are quite painful, swollen and itchy, and last up to a week. After a day or so, red spot in the middle, and either 1 or 2 puncture marks.Happens in winter as well as summer. What could be doing this? No sign of bedbugs or fleas. No sign of mosquitos or horseflies etc. Could it be some kind of spider? We're are puzzled - hoovered under the bed etc etc. |
