The thing that really irritates me is that fuel consumption is still quoted in miles per gallon, rather than miles per litre. On my car I could show the consumption measured in litres, but only litres per kilometre. OK - I know it also tells me how many more miles I've got left in the tank, as it were, but the estimates haven't exactly proved accurate. So I'm forced to do the conversion sums too. I suppose it's good for the grey cells..... |
