Iris, they already seem to be pushing the cloud and subscription model for Office, it may be free for a year with new hardware purchases but after that it is a monthly subscription model/managed service model i am not keen on having everything in the cloud either to some who have purchased new hardware with windows 8 it might appear no different then previous outright purchases but once you are in a service based cloud subscription model they have got you by the short and curlies as you have no option to stay with previous versions, to not upgrade etc i guess it will be their way or the highway that is what it looks like to me at the mo |
