| Lake Garda is one of the best. July will be VERY busy. Lake Garda offers a lot for several miles around the area. Look for: Villa Mazzucchelli, Salo' (once capital of Italy under the Fascist regime), Grotte di Catullo (Sirmione), Castello del Buonconsiglio, Vittoriale degli Italiani (d'Annunzio), Museo del Castello Scaligero di Torri del Benaco and a lot more. [Far too many have been there and have missed the main attractions]. Look them up on the Internet should you wish to plan your trip.
