What with Hounslow's decision on Empire House and Ealing's on Colonial Drive perhaps someone could explain to me/us what the purpose of the planning consultation exercise is? Objector's views are not given sufficient weight, regardless of the strength of points made, whole action groups are ignored, and council's own guidelines are overridden. However developers nearly aways get exactly what they are after, with minor changes they had allowed for within their designs... The planners are not listening to us! Discuss. |
