There was a piece in the paper the other day that suggested if you had a stopover in Reykjavik you would save a useful amount on UK airport departure tax. Or you could fly to somewhere else in the US such as JFK or Atlanta and get a connecting flight. When we flew to Atlanta a few years ago (and then drove to Orlando) the cheapest route was via Schiphol. |
