And just over the wall on the other side of the road is Gunnersbury Park Community Kitchen Garden and the Big Dig is advertising its Big Dig Day on March 21st at http://www.bigdig.org.uk/london/ "Large 19 bed plot growing heritage varieties of vegetables, using a crop rotation system and growing without chemicals. We are planning to restore the site to the traditional Victorian garden with historical timeline of gardens around its perimeter. Whats happening: We will be turning over the winter beds ready for planting. There will be a mini fete on the day selling plants from our garden, crafts from our volunteers, food products from last year's harvest, and children's garden activities.
