‘but I will say that the gardener in question does not have a belligerent bone in his body and it is not our way to be rude to anyone. When I think about Wheelers response I can see why Amanda is upset. Effectively what they are saying….”it can’t be our fault guv, we are all lovely people here.” Maybe they are, usually, but I bet a pound to a penny they took this stance when dealing with Amanda. Everyone has a belligerent bone in their body hiding somewhere. As an extreme example, we employed a guy to work for us, he was with us for years ,you couldn’t meet a nicer bloke. He is now serving time for murder. If I was writing a post defending my companies reputation it certainly would not be the one above. I would say something along the lines; We are sorry to hear that Amanda was upset by the response she felt she got from her recent complaint. Clearly we want to resolve the situation in the best possible way and we will be contacting Amanda to this end. We are proud of our reputation for friendly & efficient service and readers can rest assured of our continued high standards etc. To be blunt the gardener in question must be a bit of a dope……”your neighbour told me to do it!” I ask you, true or not he/she should have politely told said neighbour it’s company rules not to touch anything beyond the customer boundaries. |
