If you want double glazed and pvc frames, Novaglass did a great job for us. Surprisingly the pvc frames look fine in the context of an 1886 Victorian house. If you want noise reduction then it has to be secondary glazing to give a greater air gap and thus noise reduction. We did this in 1980 as we are close to the A4, but also a neighbour across the road who opened windows and had pop music blaring out! |
