Careful with that vitamin C folks.Taking large amounts can give you kidney stones.Vitamin C is water soluble and the body only takes what it needs, and can use.The residue you just pee out.A nephrologist at Hammersmith Hospital told me that he has seen a huge rise in the people he is treating with renal colic ( especially men ) since people started taking high dose Vitamin C |
