Whatever the problem is it needs to be reported to the council. They won't know if it isn't. It's enough to put people off recycling and failing light is no excuse. I'm in Hounslow and haven't had any problems with overload. It was all collected as usual in additional carrier bags at 7.30am whilst still dark. As for unrinsed containers, I've noticed that they're still collected ( better to have it in that condition than not at all!) but the box might be thrown over your fence as an expression of feelings. You know who you are! There can be no excuse for throwing it all in a truck. Presumably the contractors knew that it was Christmas and they were collecting it on later dates so would therefore be more. It's outrageous. Complaints to the council. |
