David, unless you have a very particular reason for putting the cat in a cattery I would suggest instead getting in one of the reputable cat feeders who have been mentioned on this forum to look after it. When I go away I arrange for someone to come morning and evening to feed mine, change the water bowls, litter trays etc and have a little play with them. Most cats get very stressed when not in their own environment, which can lead to illness, and being in close proximity to so many other cats also means they can pick up bugs, some of them, like coronavirus, potentially quite nasty. |
