Heathrow WebTrak has now confirmed - with a twist - why Chiswick windows were rattled just after 12:54pm yesterday (Saturday) by BA219 from LHR to Denver taking avoiding action after take off and diverting across the Thames at Strand-on-the-Green at 2000 feet, then flying over Turnham Green / Chiswick High Road where it climbed to 2200 feet - well to the south east of its usual take off path.
But the initial cause was a “go around” by BA745 from Stavanger - aborting its landing on Heathrow’s northern runway and forcing the avoiding action by BA219 which was taking off from the southern runway. BA 276 from Hyderabad was the next flight due to land on the northern runway and, as reported yesterday, it also aborted and performed a go around.
