^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ probably!!! which is what makes Janet's post so unnecessary.. I too saw this beagle-dog in Queen Anne's after watching it run down from the Newton Road area. It hid in a front garden and I went up to the gate and asked it what the matter was. He backed off. Then this rather lovely woman came out of the house opposite with a saucer of food. But again, the dog backed away. It was clearly highly nervous - and any attempt to 'collar' it would probably have seen it run even further away. A secondary reason (re Janet's question) why either myself or this lady didn't hold on to the dog probably had something to do with the not-too-secure single-strand muzzle round its mouth.... |
