FYI ..according to some evidence within the Bedford Park Society archives, Binger had a reputation for eating only the tiniest section of the pheasant's breast. Just a thin slice from beneath the left wing plus the two oysters. The remains of the uneaten birds (he devoured some 20 at a time) being left to his cook and housekeeper to distribute to charity as they saw fit. He was also well known for conducting extra-curricular Latin lessons down in his impressive wine cellar.. |
