Strictly speaking any fence, wall or other means of enclosure over 2 metres (6' 6") high requires planning permission (or 1 metre where adjacent to a highway). If the fence is over 2 metres high then it isn't illegal from a planning regulations perspective, but is a breach of planning control. So you could report it to the planning enforcement team at LBH, but I'd suggest in the first instance trying to have a word with the neighbours directly to try to resolve the situation amicably and without having to involve the Council, who won't regard a fence as a priority. |
