The terrible service dished out by Charing Cross Hospital has been going on for a long time. When a lot of people we were  celebrating the  Queens Golden Jubilee  over the four days. Charing Cross moved a lot of very seriously ill patients from a cancer ward to surrounding Nursing homes to give them the care they needed. At the same time the heating decided to breakdown and guess what, there wasn’t a maintenance engineer on duty that could fix it. So the staff improvised with covering the icy blast through the heating vents with blankets and anything else they could get there hands on. So four days of public holiday for most, turned into a nightmare for some patents that were left in hospital
