| Seems like Imperial Healthcare is going down the pan.On the 10th Dec I was booked in to have an angiogram.I was told to arrive at 08:00.I got there at 07:45, was shown to a cubicle and got changed into a gown.I was told that as i was diabetic and had nothing to eat or drink for 12 hours, they would get me done asap.At 10:12 I was told I would be next.I wasn't.At 13:20, I was told I was next.At 15:18 I got up, got dressed and went home.I was told I would be sent another appointment in the post.As it didn't arrive, I rang the hospital last week and they told me it was taking 3 weeks to sendappointments out Iin the post.What on earth is happening.I was left for19 hours with nothing to eat or drink.I'm an insulin dependant diabetic, so that was not good.But after waiting 7 hours in clinic, I went home without having the procedure. As I was leaving the clinic they told me that they would not nave had time to do mine anyway.I wonder when they were planning to tell me that. |
