I am not too sure what you mean by 'sedation' but my NHS dentist referred me this year to a practice in Southall which uses some kind of drug which they inject into the back of your hand. I didn't remember any of the procedure (tooth extraction) and time seemed to collapse (in reality it probably only took seconds anyway). I think the practice was called Acre Medical Services. I paid £50.00 for the privilege. You need to have a friend accompany you and they will not do the procedure unless the friend is on the premises. The only trouble in my understanding may be that you have to be referred by a (NHS) dentist and yours doesn't sound too willing. Maybe they operate within geographical boundaries also. (Both my dentist and this practice are in Ealing). Any help? |
