| Any good dentist will refer work that he is not prepared to do to the NHS referral service (I had this recently for a complex extraction). Although not under sedation the practice to which I was referred offered sedation with a full 'team' in attendance as would be the same in a hospital dentistry department. I do think though that you will find it very difficult to get an NHS referral simply because you want, rather than need, sedation to complete the work. |
