On a recent visit to a NHS dentist in Chiswick will a member of my family I was gob smacked at the dentist attitude to referring my relation to another NHS department who can carry out work on your teeth under sedation. According to him The NHS doesn’t carry out work under sedation you will have to go private clinic, as nhs dentist's do not carry out this sort of work anymore. Well maybe I am well out of date, I thought if you had some very award work to be carried out you could be refereed to a hospital Dental Department, similar to when you have a general for removing a very troublesome tooth. I am sorry I think this guy doesn’t want to loose out on the £400 plus cost of the work that is needed on my relation Does anyone have Information about work under sedation, or if I am right or wrong, or could point me in the right direction of any NHS service that does work under sedation |
