If you think external gas and electricity meters are an eyesore you should see the eyesores that Subway have installed on the flat roof to the rear of my property which is within a conservation area!
Subway did it without Planning, which they needed, and have now applied for retrospective Planning and also wish to put bloody great cages around these Refrigeration Condensors, they leak water and make a noise and both polite requests and fairly strong requests to Subway to take an ecological and neighbourly viewpoint have fallen on deaf ears.
So whether anyone is within a Conservation area makes much difference when it comes to the legalities |
