If women want to fight on the front line, I see no reason why they shouldn't.As long as they don't join the infantry, for which they just aren't built. The army has already carried out assesments on women on the front line and out of 100 applicants to join the infantry, 8 were successful in passing all the tests and were considered fit to join the front line. The costs in carrying out all these assesments to get 8 out of 100 applicants would be colossal. If a woman can carry a weapon, and can actually pull the trigger when she has the enemy in her sights, then they should be allowed to fight alongside their male colleagues. |
