Phew!

My credit card company did the same a few weeks ago but called and then suggested that I call back on the number on my statement quoting a One Time Password (OTP)number.

I was suspicious and called , from another phone, the main customer services number and then went through 'security hell' as I could not remember the last debit on the card to the penny. I was then told that the OTP process was legitimate but that I had been wise to call from a different phone.

Still, better that than some scumbag getting access to my account.
