GPPS is halfway through expansion to a two form entry school, the top four years are still single form, but anyone joining now at Reception age would be in a two form year.  The new extension is well worth a look if you're going round, and achieving Outstanding Ofsted while in the middle of substantial rebuilding works speaks volumes.

While some people like the idea of the 'small friendly 1FE school' the reality these days is that pressures on education mean they're unlikely to attract the resources needed to support themselves adequately beyond basic needs, so if anything it's a negative point.  I was actually relieved GPPS went 2FE as it at least meant the future was secure and things like specialist music teachers were likely to be fundable.

I'd recommend any Chiswick primary to anyone, and wouldn't pick one over another on anything more than convenience (safe/easy for kids to walk to and from, etc.) and gut feel on visiting, really.  We're extremely lucky (my son's in GP Y6, by the way).
