If you’re just getting into the Christmas spirit, Sunday’s market will answer all your present problems with a bumper bundle of hand-made crafts stalls.  If you’re going for glamour, local couturier Lisa Wagner Designs will be offering beautiful silk party tops and there’s exclusive jewellery from Alison Knights and Gallery 66. You’ll find fabulous French bags at Louison D’Or, chic children’s clothes at Conkers Handknits, beautiful and useful ceramics (dishwasher and microwave safe!) from Jo Beckett and Holly Francesca’s original home accessories.

We’ve help too with decking the halls – Meadowsweet Flowers will have a selection of lovely Christmas wreaths and arrangements, there’ll be eco-friendly candles from The Recycled Candle Co and GingerQ will be selling their unique gingerbread cookies as exquisite, edible tree decorations.

At KVM’s own stall you can buy Caroline Blomfield’s beautiful Kew scenes Christmas cards and of course Kew Village Market Cookbook, the perfect stocking-filler and/or thank you gift – instead of taking a bottle of wine, why not take a KVM Cookbook and give to charity at the same time?
All the profits from the book and from running the market are given to local good causes and at 10.45 on Sunday our not-so-secret Santa will be handing out two cheques: one for £1324 to Addiction Support and Care Agency to help them increase their support to families; and to South West London Environmental Trust  £500 to spend on energy-saving equipment. Since the market started the total given to local charities now adds up to a very heart-warming £20,617!

Also The Rotary Club of Kew will be warming our cockles with their mulled wine, at 11 o’clock The Avenue Club’s choir will be singing carols and from 11.30 there’ll be seasonal live music from the ever-popular Elastic Band. Merry Christmas to one and all and God bless us every one!

Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday 7th December from 10am to 2pm!
