Hi Everyone, I'm moving to Chisiwick on Saturday (6th Dec) and having only signed the tenancy agreement earlier this week and therefore only just informed the council we're moving I'm getting quite concerened about parking. We sent the temporary parking permit off yesterday so am fully aware we won't be able to park outside our new home for the next 5-15 working days (depending on whether you take the # days from the form, automated woman on the phone or email..). Is there another way you can sign up for a parking permit online (I am hoping I can just print something off to day we've sent the permit info off?)? or somewhere you can get temporary parking pre-permit from somewhere in Chiswick? I'm aware that a few places in London have this system where you can print off the relevant information and place it on your car until the permit arrives, does Chiswick have the same? Or if there is really no way I can get a permit....anywhere with free parking/ decent day rates not far from Devonshire Road? I'm new to the area and don't know the area well at all so any help or advice is greatly appreciated! Many thanks, Emma |
