In an age of tick-box computer columns and reduced budgets (ie money/responsibility being pushed from one to another) please remember that good sight and hearing contribute to a good memory.

Think laterally!

You may no longer have an acute enough sense of smell to notice the bananas changing colour in the fruit bowl to remind you but if you can't see them either it is more difficult to remember.

It is easier to remember when and if something happened if you also saw and heard it happening for yourself rather than just being told about it.
