I say the Police have been very slow to react with the press and community until a little after the 3rd attack and then after the 4th i believe that was still the case. It is only yesterday and today until the reports started hitting the main stream media to a minimum point. However Mary Macleod tells me that the Police were out on  CHR last week handing out leaflets.
