| Fortunately the actual police advice as set out on the front page is more sensible than women being told "not to go out at night alone". The comments about being aware of your surroundings - not wearing earphones etc - are fair enough, but to suggest women shouldn't go out alone after dark is pretty impractical (to say the least). |
