Johnathon The Pump House and the outlet apposite were built for Chiswick House and the Pipped Bollo brook which I saw unearthed a couple of years back when they had to divert the cable installation into the soft ground of the estate. There was a sewage works where Edensor Gardens and the old depository was built but that must of disappeared before 1920. although I could stand correct on that one. I don’t know who would take on the task, but it would be nice for some one or organization to document what is actually in that area. These questions crop up down and then and it's normally left to one or two residents to try and help out, sooner or later we are going to disappear. A detailed history information board of the area would be helpful as the standing stones just give a brief pictorial overview of the general area. Maybe another lottery funded project? |
